I have been playing piano nearly my whole life and composing music for over 20 years. I mainly compose new age solo piano music but am always actively exploring new genres and musical opportunities.
Some of my influences include: Philip Glass, Erik Satie, Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre, Brian Eno, Roger Eno, Harold Budd, Pat Metheny, and Lyle Mays.
I am also an assistant professor of Philosophy at Jefferson Community & Technical College in Louisville,KY. My philosophical interests include philosophy of religion, philosophy of mind, libertarian philosophy, and the philosophy of Wittgenstein. In addition to teaching I also do philosophical counseling and produce an internet podcast titled Radio Free Philosophy.
I regularly contribute articles to a Philosophy Blog and Helium.com. I also have six books available as well as several CDs of original music and Christmas music.
I am currently involved in two projects combining my love of music and philosophy: The Four Questions Project and The 11-11-11 Project.
I currently live in Indiana with my wife Carrie and our daughter Teagan.
